A classic Musky fly that finds itself at home on any lake stream creek or flowage. These have an easy casting profile and are an easy fishing fly with great movement.
I tied these up to combine two things that have been working really well on ND Musky...
Black and a bit smaller (9ish inches) and more manageable some would even say 9 wt castable, but I throw'em on 10 wts with 400ish grain lines for ease.
These are tied on my tried and try double hook set up I use ma 5/0 Gamakatsu B10s in the back and up front a 6/0 Misfit Musky hook connected by a solid .045 wire connector.
Each one hand tied so always going to be slight variations in materials and application.
But these things will work great on Pike, Musky, Bass, Walleye, your checking account... They're just a great value and effective!
