One part of the casting instruction often overlooked is a real conversation about gear: rods, lines, and how to set them up to work best with each other and what you want to do with them. This is also an area of instruction we can provide.

We can help you navigate the complex world of the beginner fly tyer, and show you it's not as scary as some make it out to be. We can also take the skills you have and introduce some of the complex and challenging aspects of the artform and get you tying creations you only imagined.

If have a group of people, or organization that is interested in a presentation of Fly Fishing or Fly tying, I am able to accommodate and pass along the knowledge those before me shared. Teaching casting and or tying is best in smaller groups of six or less. Presenting information on the general how to or specifics of fly fishing North Dakota and beyond can be done in person or virtually to audiences big and small.
